My photography is a study of details and textures. From weathered wood, antiqued mechanical hardware, abandoned architecture and rusted automobiles to ephemera and junk art are the type of elements that catch my eye. I also appreciate beautiful landscapes and minimal scenery. Digital darkroom post processing allows me to perform precision editing to bring focus to the many textures and details within the images. I lean towards black and white or duotoned processes because of the contrast and detail achieved. Giclee’ prints are made on archival papers specifically chosen for each image to bring out the clarity and depth. |
