Whether working on canvas or paper, I think of myself as a watercolorist. The transparent to opaque flexibility of acrylic and its capacity for flow and wash allows me to work freely.  Its versatility on a wet or dry surface excites and challenges me to work boldly.

Recent small paintings have been explorations into new ideas and techniques.
